Youth/ Play Worker- Sessional

Location: Camberwell- London Borough of Southwark

Contract: Sessional/ casual

Salary: £14.80/hour

Step-Out Mentoring is an early intervention mentoring organisation that provides support for children and young people in the heart of South London through outdoor based 1:1 mentoring and group workshops. We work with children and young people aged 8-18 who are disengaged with education and/or life.

About the role.

We are looking for a highly skilled youth and play practitioner to sensitively and compassionately support the provision of support for young people on our mentoring programme. To deliver a programme of group sessions that support the young people to form trusting relationships which will form the wrap around support for our 1:1 mentoring programme. These group sessions will include weekly drop in sessions, sports session and gender specific sessions.
